/ˌstɛrioʊ-rɛgjələ ˈrʌbə/ (say .stereeoh-regyuhluh 'rubuh), /ˌstɪə-/ (say .stear-)

any of a group of synthetic elastomers manufactured by the process of solution polymerisation using specific catalysts capable of controlling the stereo-isomerism of the products, thus enabling the structure and properties of natural rubber to be substantially copied.
